AIPMT Exam preparation tips

AIPMT stands for All India Pre Medical Test. It is a well-known medical college entrance examination. The entrance exam is conducted every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The exam is conducted on a national level for the admission to MBBS and BDS courses in varied medical colleges in India. The students who aspire to pursue a career in medicine usually appear for the AIPMT entrance exam. The exam is generally conducted on the first Sunday of May. The exam contains one paper, which encompasses 180 objective type questions from Biology (Botany & Zoology), Physics and Chemistry subjects. Let us understand how students can make their exam preparation better by following to these useful exam tips.
  1. Learn and revise all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. Most academic experts prepare question papers by referring to the updated syllabus. Hence, you should prepare each and every chapter meticulously that is prescribed in the curriculum.
  2. Try to spend more time on the Biology subject as half of the questions are asked in the exam from biology. If you prepare biology subject thoroughly, then you would be able to score well in the entrance exam.
  3. It is ideal to prepare for the exam through NCERT class XI and class XII textbooks. The textbooks contain the most important questions that might come in the exam. 
  4. When you prepare for physics and chemistry subject make sure you jot down the formula and try to memorize these. If you are able to remember all the formulas, then you can easily attempt physics and chemistry questions.
  5. Revision is a must. After completing the entire answer-sheet. Read all the answers that you have marked.Do not study new chapters few days before the exam as it will create lot confusion and stress. Try to revise the topics that you had prepared for the exam.
