FA 2 Syllabus for Class 10 CBSE

CCE is continuous and comprehensive evaluation system and it is introduced by the CBSE board to give students chance to improve their performance and rectify the difficulties that they usually face during each academic session. Through the CCE process the board measures the students’ individual learning problems and accordingly, it provides remedial measures and boost up the students’ confidence level. The board employs different techniques to make the entire evaluation process successful. However, scholastic and co-scholastic areas are measured through the CCE process. Scholastic areas are related to the subjects, whereas co-scholastic areas are about the students’ attitudes, life skills and co-curricular activities. However, formative assessment (FA) is executed by the class teacher during the teaching period. Sometimes, it is conducted after a unit. However, class work, homework, assignment, group activity, oral test, projects and others are included in this assessment process. Moreover, 10 marks are allotted for each FA exam and two FA tests are included in each term.
